Deborah Chen, MDDr. Chen attended the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA, for her undergraduate education, where she studied Neuroscience, English Writing, and American Sign Language. She then went on to Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Piscataway, NJ. Dr. Chen then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) in Asheville, NC. Dr. Chen's clinical interests include prenatal and postpartum care, contraception counseling, pelvic pain, infertility, urinary incontinence, and more. Jenny Van Winkle, MDDr. Van Winkle is board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology. She received her medical degree from Texas A&M Health Science Center – College of Medicine and completed her residency at The Methodist Hospital – Houston Obstetrics & Gynecology in Houston, TX. Her special interests and training include prenatal care, family planning, infertility evaluations and treatment, laparoscopic and vaginal surgeries, well-woman exams, colposcopy and LEEP (Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure) procedures, hysteroscopy and menopausal care. Van Winkle is also fluent in Spanish. Kelly Garcia, MDKelly Garcia, MD, received her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine, Gainesville, FL in 2014. She then went through her residency with the MAHEC Family Medicine Residency Program in Asheville, and continued with Blue Ridge Health during a 1-year Maternal-Child Health Fellowship. She then joined the BRH practice in Clyde. Mark Kinter, MDBorn in Parkersburg, WV, Dr. Kinter received his B.A... degree in Microbiology from Clemson University, SC. He received his medical degree from the University of SC in Charleston. He completed his family medicine residency at the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC in 1994 and has been Board Certified in Family Medicine since 1994. He is certified in the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (American Academy of Pediatrics) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS - American Heart Association) as well as Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS). Dr. Kinter serves as the Chief of the Maternal Child Health Service at Haywood Regional Medical Center and on the Board of Trustees. Traci N. Lombard, DODr. Traci N. Lombard received her medical degree from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, Kirksville, MO and her post-graduate training was at the Phoenix Children's Hospital/Maricopa Medical Center in Pheonix, AZ where she completed a Pediatrics residency. She also holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Robin Matthews, MDDr. Robin Matthews is board-certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology with Haywood Women’s Medical Center. She received her medical degree from University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, AL, and completed her residency at North Carolina Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC. She is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has over 25 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology. Anna Mooney, MDDr. Anna Mooney received her medical degree from the University of South Carolina-School of Medicine, Columbia, SC and her post-graduate training was at the Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA where she completed a Pediatrics residency. She also holds a B.S.. in Chemical Engineering (cum laude) from the University of South Carolina. She is certified by the American Heart Associate in PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation). Ashley Pennington-Tripp, CNMPennington-Tripp is a Certified Nurse Midwife who completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Western Carolina University. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing – specializing in Nurse Midwifery – at Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, Kentucky. |
